Timmons Roberts

Timmons Roberts is Ittleson Professor of Environmental Studies and Sociology at Brown University and the Executive Director of the Climate Social Science Network. He is the co-author and editor of fourteen books and edited volumes, and of over eighty articles and book chapters. 

Danielle Falzon

Received her PhD at Brown University in 2022, Dr. Falzon is currently an assistant professor of sociology at Rutgers, Danielle's research interests lie in climate change and human displacement with an emphasis on inequality and justice in climate policymaking.

Galen Hall

At the CDL, Galen researched corporate influence over climate politics in the United States. He focused on the structure of the national-scale climate change countermovement and on data-driven analyses of corporate influence across several state legislatures.

Jared Heern

Jared Heern is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Environment and Society at Brown University. He is also affiliated with the Climate Social Science Network. Heern's research focuses on energy and environmental politics and policy, primarily in the contexts of executive and legislative branch behavior, partisanship, interest groups, and public opinion and representation.

Mizan R. Khan

Dr. Mizan R. Khan is currently the Deputy Director at Int’l Centre for Climate Change & Development (ICCCAD), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) & Programme Director, LDC Universities’ Consortium on Climate Change (LUCCC) at ICCCAD, Dhaka. He is a reviewer of many peer-reviewed journals like Climate and Development; World Development; Climate Policy; Environmental Politics, etc.

Ike Uri

Ike Uri is a doctoral candidate in sociology and has been affiliated with the CDL since 2018. Within the CDL, Uri's research centers on international climate finance for adaptation and loss and damage, particularly within the UNFCCC. Beyond this, he focuses on urban climate risk and adaptation, primarily in India, considering how politics, forms of knowledge and expertise, and finance impact conceptualizations of risk and proposed climate solutions. 

Romain Weikmans

Romain Weikmans is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) / Free University of Brussels (Belgium). Romain was a postdoctoral research fellow at the CDL in 2015–2016 and has since co-authored over 15 peer-reviewed articles with current and former Lab members. His research is mainly in the field of global climate governance, with a focus on international climate finance.
